Opposed - Northern Kentucky Health Dept

The Northern Kentucky Health Department used taxpayer dollars to set up the initial website for NKY ACTION.

After this had been pointed out on NKYchoice.com, and after politicians questioned the use of taxpayer funds on an advocacy position, they gave up control of the website.

In Ohio, the local Departments of Health get to keep the fines collected from businesses for violating their statewide ban ordinance. Therefore, it is no wonder that the health department would be in favor of this ban; they stand to gain revenue as a result.
